Who we are
FixASAP Mobile Mechanics (Pty) Ltd ("FixASAP", "we") is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. Our office is at The Workpods Office G13, 1024 Brand Road, President Park, Midrand, 1685, Gauteng. Registration number: [CONFIRM: CIPC registration number].
What we collect
- Request a mechanic: the service you need, vehicle, suburb and phone or WhatsApp number; optionally your name, email, service address, a description of the problem, preferred date and time, and access requirements.
- Contact form: your name, an email address or phone number, and your message.
- Mechanic applications: your name, phone, optional email, area, years of experience, qualifications and an optional CV.
We only ask for what we need to respond. Please do not include ID numbers or other sensitive information in free-text fields.
Why we use it
We use these details only to respond to your request, arrange and confirm a visit, quote for work, reply to your message, or consider your application. The lawful basis is your consent, given with the tick box on each form, and the steps needed to provide the service you ask for.
Who receives it
- Our email provider, which delivers form submissions to us: [CONFIRM: email/SMTP provider].
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to send your request through WhatsApp. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that message.

We do not sell personal information. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. A single session cookie keeps forms secure and is deleted when you close your browser.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are emailed to us and are not stored in a database on this website. Emails are kept for [CONFIRM: retention period, e.g. 12 months after the last contact] and then deleted. CVs from unsuccessful applications are deleted after [CONFIRM: period].
